Repair, Restoration, & Enhancement
All photos straight from a digital camera can benefit from color correction, sharpening, etc. We call this "photo pop".
Other photos may need a bit of repair and restoration.
Do you have a story you would really like to tell, but the photo(s) doesn't quite meet your expectations? Maybe the photo is damaged, or just needs a little extra something to bring out the natural colors and make your picture pop! We can help! Let us help you tell your story by providing you with a photo you can scrap.

For your scrapbooks, Peek offers some great photo repair, restoration, enhancements, and "photo pop":
For $2.50, we will provide:
color correction & enhancement of natural colors
sharpening and contrast adjustments
straightening
adjust brightness
remove noise (graininess)
For $5 to $10, depending on work to be done, we can do the above, plus:
removal of minor flaws & damage
soften portrait shots, brighten teeth & eyes
How to order a photo restoration
You pay only after the work is done and you are satisfied with the results!
1. Send the photo to service@apeekintoyesterday.com, with a description of what you would like done to the photo. (see additional info below)
2. Your photo and goals will be reviewed, and we'll let you know the cost to fix the photo
3. If you agree with our proposal, the work will be done.
4. Once the work is completed, we will send a watermarked file for your review. If you are satisfied, only then do we send you an invoice.
5. Once payment is received, we will return the final file without the watermark.
Note: Most work is completed within 2 business days of receipt of payment.
Notes on sending your image:
We will not work on copyrighted photos. Please do not send them.
If possible, send the original file from you camera. Jpg files lose detail each time they are saved, so the original source file is the best version to send. If you shoot RAW, please send the raw file.
If the file is scanned, make sure to scan it at 360 resolution

Note: We have chosen to limit our photo restoration service to scrapbook photos. Our goal is to meet the needs of the scrapbooker by providing a quick turn-around at a reasonable price. If you have some high-end repair work you would like done (such as photos that you plan to frame, maybe old photos with significant damage), we can refer you another source.
